finding a realtor

Notices of screen real estate, you will see many real estate agents listed with initials after their names. These are the names agent real estate, representing the certificates held by real estate agents. Here are just some of the names realtor:

 • ABR – Accredited Representative The abbreviation means the buyer. This certification means that the estate agent specializing in the representation buyers.

 • LAC – The Accredited Land Consultant specializing in brokerage transactions of land.

 • CIPS – The Agency Certified International property Specialist will have more knowledge of international real estate market.

 • CRB – The estate agent who specializes in brokerage and real knowledge of business management of the properties.

 • CRE – The realtors have a Counselor Real Estate that certification is by invitation only. They provide experienced advice on real estate and land related matters.

This realtor is able to explain well the new conditions, laws, procedures and funding for seniors and help them understand more fully their rights of buyer and seller.

Why Get designations?

Agents property roots that have these names have studied the specific areas of real estate to acquire advanced knowledge in these areas. Qualification for these appointments is time for classes, rehearsals and extensive learning skills. Some denominations require up to six to eight months of regular classroom studies. In addition to the real-estate agent knowledge, this study also increases the professionalism of the NAR.

Realtors have found these designations very valuable, and as more knowledge they have, customers have more confidence in their abilities and skills. These certifications are especially valuable for new real estate agents, increasing their knowledge faster than with hands on experience.

All realtors are required their condition of having a certain level of knowledge in order to have a license. In addition, real estate agents are required to take courses every four years to maintain their license. Certification is entirely optional course for real estate agents.

What this means for the buyer or seller?

That depends on the individual real estate agent. I have worked in the insurance industry for many years, when such designations are aggressively promoted and so difficult to obtain. I found the following insurance agents and their names on that easily translates to real estate brokers and their descriptions:

 • For many, the best course of his knowledge and ability to sell,

 • The appointments attracted more customers,

 • Many insurance agencies of our firm held designations,

 • Many of the best players held no names, and

 • One of the most successful actors of the company never had any of the denominations, steadily exceeded worldwide sales each year, and was so success of his private secretary, who screened all your calls, because he was busy with customers who only seemed to gravitate toward him.

My point is this – a designation indicates that real estate agents have completed a comprehensive study on their own time. That means it must be well versed in this area particularly real estate. This does not mean they are more informed of a real estate agent without the designation, since the latter may have learned a lot more through the actual experience of the person holding the designation.

So, when looking to hire a real estate agent, maintaining a good perspective on the nominations. Choosing to do a good interview with the real estate agent, instead of just accepting that he / she is the best because of an appointment.
